The 'Mega alumni meet-2017' was recently organised at Kuvempu Auditorium, PES College, Hanumanthanagar. The programme started with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries on the occasion.
Dr M R Doreswamy, chancellor, PES University, expressed his happiness over the presence of students from the 1983 batch onwards. He stressed upon the role of alumni in the academic progress of the institution. He complimented all the alumni who have come to occupy high positions in society.
Prof D Jawahar, pro-chancellor of PES University, made a presentation on the growth of PES from its inception and also highlighted the future plans of the institution. More than 700 alumni of degree, pharmacy and polytechnic college attended the event.
