BFlat in association with Exodus will present Kom Zot on February 24, 9 pm onwards, in its premises in Indiranagar.
Kom Zot is one of the biggest reggae bands from the French Réunion Islands. They chose reggae in the early 90s (at first they were a traditional music Maloya band), as they wanted their music to be a reflection of their values and the place they belong to.
Kom Zot released their first reggae single called 'Koman Na Fé' in 1991. The single hit the charts and went straight to being number one, turning them into one of the biggest, most popular reggae groups of the Reunion Islands. Since their first album 'Rebel Kabaré' in 1994, after which they have released two more albums, Kom Zot hasn't stopped raising the 'Reggae-Made-In-Réunion' flag since then.
They have performed with and shared the stage with artistes such as I Jah Man, Lucky Dube, Steel Pulse, Culture, Israel Vibration and Lee Perry at the 'Sakifo Festival' twice.
Adding to these amazing experiences, Kom Zot is really proud and feels blessed to be chosen among many, to be the opening act of Griffiths during 'The Gladiators tour' in 2004.
Tickets are available at www.bookmyshow.com and also at the venue. For details, call 25278361/ 41739250.
