Internationally acclaimed virtuoso of Western classical and jazz music, Denis Stern Trio, will perform live on August 26 and 27, 9.30 pm onwards, at Windmills Craftworks, 331 Road, 5B EPIP Zone, Whitefield.

Denis Stern was born in St Petersburg where he started learning music. He studied at the Rimon Jazz School of Tel Aviv, Israel, where he lived for six years.

It was there that he learned Arabian instruments and attended masterclasses with musicians like Philippe Catrine, Al Di Meola and Pat Metheny.

While in Spain, Denis' music met flamenco sounds, creating a unique style named 'Nuevo flamenco'.

Presently based in Italy, Denis has projects like 'Vagabundos de Lujo', 'Denis Stern Project' and Dunia Trio Group (a collaboration between Western guitar and
bharathanatyam) to his credit.
Travelling around the world, he brings plenty of influences to his music which is a perfect blend of technique and emotional suggestion.

The concert in Bengaluru will feature Denis Stern on guitar, Keith Peters on bass and Aditya Srinivasan on tabla/percussion.
